1 Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Customer," or "Store Owner") and Quizy Technologies Private Limited ("Quizy," "we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 in Telangana, India.

By downloading, installing, or using the Quizy mobile application ("App"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2 Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use Quizy as a Customer or Store Owner.
• Users between 13 and 17 may use the app only with verifiable parental or guardian consent.
• By using the app, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Indian law.
• Quizy is currently available only in India. Use from outside India is not officially supported and may be subject to additional terms.

3 User Accounts

To access core features of Quizy, you must register for an account using your mobile phone number (verified via OTP).

• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at support@quizy.co.in if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4 Marketplace Rules

Quizy is a technology platform that connects Customers with independent local Store Owners. Quizy is not a party to the transactions between Customers and Store Owners and does not own, sell, or deliver any products.

• Store Owners are solely responsible for: the accuracy of their product listings and pricing, quality and safety of products sold, fulfilment of confirmed orders in a timely manner, and compliance with all applicable local trade and food safety laws.
• Customers must: provide accurate delivery information, be available to receive their order, and pay the listed price including any applicable taxes and delivery charges.
• Quizy reserves the right to remove any product listing that violates our content standards, is illegal, or is misrepresented.
• Store Owners must not list counterfeit, prohibited, or age-restricted items (e.g. alcohol, tobacco) without appropriate legal authorisation.

5 Payments & Razorpay

All payments within the Quizy app are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a licensed Payment Aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

• By making a payment on Quizy, you agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• Quizy does not store your credit/debit card numbers, UPI credentials, or net banking details on its servers.
• Prices displayed are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
• Quizy is not liable for payment failures caused by your bank, card issuer, or network conditions.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR).

6 Cancellations & Refunds

• Customer Cancellation: You may cancel an order only if it has not yet been confirmed by the Store Owner. Once confirmed, cancellation is not permitted.
• Refund Timeline: Eligible refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 business days.
• Store Owner Cancellation: If a Store Owner cancels or is unable to fulfil your order, you will receive a full refund automatically.
• Quizy Coins used: Coins used toward a cancelled order will be returned to your wallet within 24 hours.
• Disputes: If you believe you are entitled to a refund that has not been processed, contact us at support@quizy.co.in within 7 days of the order date.

7 Quizy Coins & Rewards

Quizy may offer a loyalty rewards system including Quizy Coins, scratch cards, spin wheels, referral bonuses, and check-in rewards.

• Quizy Coins are digital promotional tokens with no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred to another user.
• Coins can be redeemed for discounts on eligible orders within the Quizy app, subject to applicable minimum order values.
• Quizy reserves the right to modify, expire, or revoke Coins at its sole discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud or abuse.
• Referral bonuses are credited only when the referred user completes their first order. Self-referrals are not permitted and will result in disqualification.
• Rewards obtained through fraudulent means will be forfeited and may result in account termination.

8 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following:

• Placing fraudulent, fake, or malicious orders with no intention to pay or receive.
• Uploading false, misleading, or defamatory product listings or reviews.
• Attempting to manipulate Quizy Coins, referral rewards, or loyalty systems.
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users, Store Owners, or Quizy staff.
• Reverse engineering, copying, or scraping any part of the Quizy app or its data.
• Using the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable Indian law.
• Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems or infrastructure.

9 Intellectual Property

The Quizy name, logo, app design, and all associated content are the intellectual property of Quizy Technologies Private Limited and are protected under Indian copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

• You may not use the Quizy name, logo, or branding without prior written consent.
• Store Owners grant Quizy a non-exclusive licence to display their product images and store details within the app for the purpose of facilitating transactions.
• User-generated content (reviews, profile photos) remains your property, but you grant Quizy a royalty-free licence to display it within the app.

10 Disclaimers

The Quizy app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

• Quizy does not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses.
• Quizy does not endorse or guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any products listed by Store Owners.
• Location accuracy depends on your device's GPS and network conditions, which are outside Quizy's control.
• Quizy is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on information provided by Store Owners.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Quizy Technologies Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or data.
• Damages resulting from unauthorised access to your account.
• Damages arising from third-party products or services accessed via the app.
• Service interruptions caused by Force Majeure events (natural disasters, government actions, network outages).

In no event shall Quizy's total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you paid to Quizy in the three months preceding the claim.

12 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

• Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through written notice to support@quizy.co.in.
• If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
• Consumer disputes may also be raised before the appropriate Consumer Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13 Termination

Quizy reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, for:

• Breach of any provision of these Terms.
• Engaging in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity on the platform.
• Chargebacks or payment disputes filed in bad faith.
• Requests by law enforcement or regulatory authorities.

Upon termination, your right to access the app ceases immediately. Pending orders at the time of termination will be handled at Quizy's discretion. You may request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.

14 Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or push notification at least 7 days before they take effect.

Your continued use of the Quizy app after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the app and may request account deletion.
